WORK VS PRIVATE
Describe your average work day:
I don’t have an average work day, it depends on my schedule, sometimes I have an in company training, where I start around 8am at the location of my client. Sometimes I have an office day, so I will start around 9am in my own office. My job is really alternating, I never have the same day. That’s nice, because I don’t like to stick to patterns, also not for my job. I give a lot of presentations around the country, so I travel a lot. During this crazy Covid-19 time, I do a lot of presentations online, via a screen. So I built a studio in my office. To inspire people about our human brain is my daily work, in seminars, also online, on social media.
Describe your average day off:
Even if I have a day off or not, I will always start my day with a morning walk, an exercise to wake up. I start with a meditation, every day, take time to create a healthy brain food breakfast, dance with my family to energize ourselves and start the day with lots of positivity.
What makes you really happy?
To inspire people to be more in balance and live a healthier life. That’s my work, but also my life. I love to keep my loved ones and myself healthy, happy and in balance as well. To teach my son how his brain works, how we can feed ourself in a proper way, to be more positive, and to see chances, is what makes me very happy.
What irritates you the most?
That we don’t get taught how we need to use our brain and how we need to use food in a right way. We never learn anything about this most powerful tool. Our brain is so important. At this moment there are too many mental health problems, which is not necessary at all… if we do more with prevention, we can change this.
Who inspires you and why?
My own life and all my followers inspires me on a daily base.
What is your favourite place in the world?
I have many places, I love to travel and travelled a lot. I love Canada for nature, I love Bali for the culture and the people, I love New Zealand for the authenticity and nature, I love New York for the speed of life, the great restaurants, I feel in love with Scandinavia, there are so many amazing places to go. The main question is: do you see the beautiful places? This is everywhere, also in the Netherlands. I have travelled the last months a lot in the Netherlands, and it’s amazing!
What is vitality to you?
The main reason in my life, to work with and for. To inspire, and give to other people with the knowledge I have learned from the neuroscience and orthomolecular medicine therapy. There are so many people who are not really vital at all…. We can change it, just by the holistic life.
How do you take care of your own vitality?
It’s a lifestyle, 5 years ago I didn’t take care of this at all. No I live it, I don’t need to think about it, because it’s a lifestyle. We don’t eat sugars, no chemical foods, just pure and clean natural foods. Move every day, dance, listen to music, walk in nature, this is what I do on a daily base.
What is (are) your best tip(s) to share with others?
Take care of your brain, every day, it’s not a diet. We only have one brain, we can’t exchange it.
With my knowledge and skills I help people who feel that there is more to it than is now coming out. In both their work and private life.
